DEPRESSION DOES NOT HAVE THE FINAL SAY
Possible causes:
Heredity, lack of proper nutrition, fast life transitions, fear, isolation, spiritual attack
Possible manifestations:
Hopelessness, inability to sleep, fear, anger, lack of appetite
GOD’S HEALING PROCESS:
Depression is often used by God in order to bring to fulfillment the death of self in the human heart. He knows us better than we know ourselves and desires for Himself to be seen more and more through our lives. We all come from different backgrounds and have varied emotional struggles but it is possible that the depression you’re experiencing is the enemy’s attack upon your life in order to divert you from faith and hope in God. HE WANTS US TO TRUST HIM. He is for us NOT AGAINST US and CAN USE DEPRESSION AS A MEANS OF BLESSING US!!!
Earthly remedies:
Open up to someone you can trust, ask for prayer from people who are mature spiritually, move away from people or places that serve as a reminder of your pain while you allow God to heal your heart (takes time BUT IT IS SURE!), express your feelings in writing while meditating on the Word of God, start running, eat healthy meals daily, see a doctor who can prescribe medication for anxiety, sleeplessness, and/or depression and follow up with him/her.
