Everything we need.

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3

The more we know God, the more we are able to see that He truly is everything that we need. His power supplies us with abundant supplies for living earthly, as well as supernatural lives. We often feel inadequate in so many areas, especially in living out true Christianity. There is an astounding truth we overlook- it is by God’s power, not ours, that we are able to carry out His calling upon our lives. If we look to ourselves we fail, but if we look to God we can truly succeed. It takes a purposeful inclination of our minds in the direction of God’s glory and goodness and away from ourselves. In Christ we have everything but apart from Him we have nothing. Let’s exalt Christ above our wisdom and striving!
