Will you be part of His True Bride?
I can still hear the cry from heaven. It resounds in the midst of life’s noisy activities. I could have so easily missed it but I took a moment to listen. How grateful I am to have heard it so clearly and for the fact that it made my whole existence come to a stop. It is the cry of Christ, the Heavenly Bridegroom.
He is calling to His Bride. It is an urgent plea for preparation. Christ agonized on the cross for this very purpose. We are not ready in the state we are in because most of the Church is asleep. We are not waiting for Christ. We are caught up in earthly things. The world has tainted us and we don’t even realize that our garment is no longer pure.
Christ is coming for those that are waiting for Him with a sincere heart. That is His True Bride. The Church is busy toiling for the kingdom but in its own strength. We do so much with so little power because we have lost the anointing. We have lost the purity in our relationship with God. A life truly surrendered carries the very power of God. It impacts everything it touches because it moves under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I pray we understand the time of our visitation and turn with our whole heart today!
Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
the Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and exult
and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and his Bride has made herself ready;
it was granted her to clothe herself
with fine linen, bright and pure”—
for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
Revelation 19:6-9 (ESV)
Amen.
To add to your words, from Romans 13:11-14
“11) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13) Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.”
