Here we are, dear friends, at the end of our Hebrews study. It has been my privilege to dive deeper with you into who Christ is and what He has done for us…!
Here is a brief review of our 13 days of study (one for each chapter of Hebrews):
- Jesus, most exalted above all
- Saved through His suffering
- Jesus, our true rest
- Jesus, our merciful High Priest
- The secret of prayer
- Jesus, our eternal promise
- Jesus, our Perfect Savior
- A New Covenant
- The perfect blood of Christ
- A New and Living Way
- Faith’s blessed reward
- His unshakeable Kingdom
- BE A LIVING SACRIFICE
In this last chapter, there are so many bits of wisdom. Let us look at a few as we conclude our study.
Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. Hebrews 13:3 (ESV)
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Hebrews 13:4 (ESV)
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 (ESV)
Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them. Hebrews 13:9 (ESV)
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrews 13:16 (ESV)
Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Hebrews 13:15 (ESV)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (ESV)
Our Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed everything for us…WILL WE BE A LIVING SACRIFICE BY HIS GRACE? May you be richly blessed by our extravagant Savior and King forever.
Have really enjoyed your study! A lot of gold in there. Thank you.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! It means so much…💖
