Spring is a season that paints with wild strokes the creative nature of God. He made the whole universe from nothing and He delights in doing new things. He made us a new creation in Christ and tells us in Isaiah 43:19, Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. When you entrust yourself fully to God, trusting in His power to bring new life to the deadest places inside of you, the river of His Holy Spirit will turn your desert into a garden.
