Staying true to who God wants you to be.

on

The world we live in has conditioned us to keep our minds busy. It is continually trying to force us into a kind of mold that keeps us focused on ourselves. It shouldn’t surprise us that we often feel disconnected from God even though we want to have a relationship with Him. We feel empty and we wonder what we’re doing wrong. If we choose to stop and get our mind to catch up with our heart- we will realize that we need to keep a quiet heart before God. It is possible, even in the world we live in but we need to really want to slow down. Then we need to look outside of ourselves and unto God for the steps we need to take. He will meet us in the middle and we will finally find the fulfillment our souls desire. Staying true to who God wants us to be looks like keeping a sincere heart before God and choosing Him first. Over everything else. Even over the good and meaningful things in life.

First time visitor…love the layout…its centered, as you are on God.

About what you wrote…the enemy is clever…they have introduced technology that supposedly keeps us more connected than ever- faster- lightning speed, globally, yet we have never been so disconnected from God.

The enemy has taken The Living Word out of our hands and replaced it with an artificial unnatural device that is always dying and running out of juice- the exact oppossite of what Gods Glorious LIVING WORD DOES-

    Energize us
    Rejuvenate us
    Recharge us
    Fill us with abundant life
    Keep us connected, not disconnected.

    Daily Rules im following now:
    #1 Regulate phone time
    #2 Regulate tv time

    An absolute requirement.

    God bless you.

‘It shouldn’t surprise us that we often feel disconnected from God even though we want to have a relationship with Him.’ These words are the exact feel of me. This is indeed a blessing from the almighty which we fail to recognize at times. It’s the love from him showered on us so we don’t fall astray even we feel disappointed or despair at times. Eventually hope holds, gather and bind us back to the mercy of my almighty.
I loved this piece because it’s such a connection and peace to soul.
