The push of doing the right thing, day in and day out, can sometimes seem overwhelming. It would be so easy if the rewards were instant. You work hard and it seems like more obstacles are rising than moving out of your way. You often feel unseen and misunderstood but all you want is to get through one more day and to do it to the best of your ability.

Do you sometimes feel this way? It’s as if the world forgot what integrity and respectful conversation means. You wonder if it’s even worth it. Is it worth doing the right thing even when it is misinterpreted because so many people’s minds have been darkened in this day and age? This struggle and confusion can come in many shapes and sizes but it is often in the work arena.

But my post in not to vent about how hard the daily grind can be these days but to encourage you. Even though working with people can be so tough at times, there are always those beautiful moments when another human being understands your dilemma and they do their best to make it better. When the person you’re explaining something hard to explain to places their understanding aside and tries to understand you. When someone offers a kind gesture to let you know that your hard work is appreciated and you matter. They see you.

And if human beings can see each other, how much more can God see you? He will reward the hard work done with a clean heart and in God’s scheme of things- integrity and character is still rewarded and upheld. He still propels forward those that truly deserve it. The people with a conscience who put in the work.

If you feel drained and confused as to whether your efforts- whatever they might be- are worth it, they are! One day, every good deed and effort will turn into a big harvest of blessing. And think of the blessings your actions bestowed on others! We cannot even fathom the impact. Estera Marian
