The beauty of God’s providence.

That night sleep escaped the king, so he ordered the book recording daily events to be brought and read to the king. Esther 6:1

This was the night after Haman made preparations for Mordecai’s hanging. God was working behind the scenes to destroy Haman’s plan of vengeance on the Jews. He made the king sleepless so he could be reminded about Mordecai’s discovery of the plot against him and the fact that nothing was done to honour him. The king knew immediately what he had to do. He had Haman parade Mordecai through the city as an act of recognition for his loyalty to the king. Isn’t it funny that this was precisely Haman’s plan for himself?God made the hidden motives of Haman known to the king and he began to understand what was really going on. Mordecai was taken from the king’s gate and they changed his sackcloth and ashes for royal attire. Even before queen Esther mentioned her request to the king, God was already working justice on behalf of his people. I believe God works in the same manner today, bringing justice to those that cry out to Him because of the crushing weight of injustice. He knows, he sees, and He is already acting on your behalf! Let Him defend you.
