The value of wisdom.

Wisdom cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, in precious onyx or lapis lazuli. Job 28:16

I have always been fascinated by this chapter in the book of Job. I love how he takes the time to contemplate the beauty of wisdom despite his suffering and confusion. This virtue is not something that we can find inside ourselves or anywhere in the world around us. Wisdom can only be found with God and it is more precious than anything else. If you think about it, we spend our entire lives in search of something valuable and meaningful but how often do we search for wisdom, the most precious aspiration? Through wisdom, God teaches us how to see life and He gives us the ability to live well. In your search for meaning and fulfillment, seek for wisdom. Everything else pales in comparison.
