God of the helpless.

But you yourself have seen trouble and grief, observing it in order to take the matter into your hands. The helpless one entrusts himself to you; you are a helper of the fatherless. Psalm 10:14

No other person can appreciate the love and care of God like the hopeless. I have had countless situations in my life where I was allowed to feel utterly hopeless. I have touched the fatherly hand of God as He lifted me out of my pain. God is our help! When no one is able to help us, when we have been orphaned by life- God is aware. He takes matters into His hands. All we can do is entrust ourselves in His care. The blessedness of experiencing loneliness and grief is that it empowers us to help those that are hurt and wounding. God is a Father to the fatherless and He is a Father to you in all your helplessness. Trust Him like a child trusts His father!
