When the battle seems overwhelming.

Lord, lead me in your righteousness because of my adversaries; make your way straight before me. Psalm 5:8

David had external battles, we often have internal ones. There is sometimes a battle inside of us that nobody knows anything about. It is fierce and the adversaries seem too many. David knew that he needed God to help him walk in righteousness in order to walk in victory. What are the adversaries in your life that have overpowered you because of unfaithfulness to God? They taunt us and try to make us believe that the way will never be clear. As we cry out to God in the midst of our battle, He will lead us in His truth and make the way straight before us. No obstacle can defeat God and as long as we are with Him we will be a champion! Take a moment to ask God to help you be on His side.
