Treasure every day.

Remove sorrow from your heart, and put away pain from your flesh, because youth and the prime of life are fleeting. Ecclesiastes 11:10
Life is very short. Oftentimes, we get entangled in unnecessary sorrow that obscures our ability to enjoy it. Instead of looking at the bad around us, let’s look at the good. Today, we are blessed if we are alive. We have a shelter and the security of a family. But above all, we have Jesus! This verse uses two strong verbs, remove and put away. Treasuring what matters in life is a willful act. It’s something that causes us to make a change in our thoughts and how we spend our energy. Life’s moments are fleeting but how blessed we are if we know to cultivate the good on our pilgrimage here on earth!
