God’s heart.

Learn to do what is good. Pursue justice. Correct the oppressor. Defend the rights of the fatherless. Plead the widow’s cause. Isaiah 1:17

Sometimes our lives lie in ruins because our sin devastated us. God’s heart beats for justice. He wants to work it on our behalf but we need to live it first. The good God wants us to do is to fight for the defenseless. When we live unjust lives, taking advantage of those that are weaker or even those closest to us in everyday life- we are evil before God. Let’s learn to do good by turning away from injustice, oppression, and indifference. Be fair in your dealings, don’t hurt others, and speak for those who have no voice! Then watch as God rises up to defend you.
