The recompense for pride.

Humanity is brought low, each person is humbled, and haughty eyes are humbled. Isaiah 5:15

Not many people understand that God calls us to be humble. I have seen so much pride in people over the course of the last decade. It’s one thing to run away from pride but what happens when we blindly live in it? When we oppress others because of our pride? What happens to the object of our scorn? Will anybody see their pain? Pride will always be humbled. Haughty eyes will be humbled. I love how God levels things out! Even though it seems that the arrogant are strong, they are not. Humble yourself today and watch as God will humble those that rise themselves over you. God will level out all arrogance.
