A moment of stillness (74).

Discipline is necessary.

I am bringing my justice near; it is not far away, and my salvation will not delay. I will put salvation in Zion, my splendor in Israel. Isaiah 46:13

The word justice that is used in this verse is interchangeable with righteousness. Israel knew the depths of God’s punishment because of their disobedience but that didn’t mean that God intended to destroy them. God is never far from us and His salvation is always near. He promises that He will give His glorious splendor to the repentant. When we experience God’s discipline full on, it seems as if He will never be near to us again but He always prepares restoration. We can clearly see this in the book of Isaiah. They sinned greatly, were humbled deeply, but were also restored beautifully. Submit to His loving discipline and you will find Him again.

  1. Amen, what a truth. We Believers should always keep in mind, when going through the battles of life that Father God is right there with us. He will never leave us or forsake. Great article.🥰👣

I too am having trouble with blocks. I found the old way when I first began blogging to be easier. God’s Justice will indeed one day reign supreme over all the earth. It is written that Israel’s Full; GLORY will be restored in the Kingdom Age when all the gentile world and Israel as well accept that Jesus Christ is Messiah/Saviour and Lord. At the Cross redemption was won for ALL.

The discipline of God is that of a Father longing for the return of a child.
