How do we die to ourselves practically?

“A life lived denying yourself is one where you choose to die to yourself daily. It actually goes deeper than being just a choice, it’s a constant yielding of ourselves to God. We can never do this in our own strength, but by the power of His Spirit we receive both the desire and the power to walk in the glorious destiny of the death of self. All we need to do is be willing. It starts from waking up in the morning by making a conscious decision to do the will of God and not your own. Normally, when someone wakes up in the morning, they can be in either a good mood or a bad mood, if I were to put it in simple terms. If you choose to die to yourself, you need to no longer live your life dictated by what you feel, but by submitting your feelings to Christ. 1. Here is your Word for today:

    Verse: Luke 19:10

‘For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.’

God takes the initiative to find and rescue the lost.
God does not wait for the lost to find Him; He goes looking for them.
If you have lost your way, you can know that God is watching you.
He reaches out to rescue those who have gone astray.

*PRAYER: *Lord, thank You that You never stop reaching out to those who
are lost. When I wander or lose my way, draw me back to You. Thank You
for Your rescuing love and for always watching over me. Amen.

    Have a blessed Tuesday.
