One thing I have learned it to be patient before plunging into ministry. It’s good to serve God with the wisdom and understanding you currently have, but allow space for God to grow you and be respectful of the people who have been walking with Him longer than you.

God has His own ‘schools’ that He has us go through because He wants us to represent Him well. He wants us to be humble and to live a life of excellence by allowing Him to raise us to such a high level. This can only be done properly by His empowerment. These qualities characterize a true servant and they take time and life’s pressures to develop under the careful eye of a God that knows how to mold each one of us best.

We can only lead by example. Words are empty if they are not preceded by real and sincere action.

Be patient, friend, and choose humility before self-promotion. God should always get the glory!
