Some people think the palace was just a lovely place to exist in
But it was scary at first
I didn’t understand how being taken away from the only relative I had
And thrown into the unknown could be a part of any divinely orchestrated plan
I chose to obey God even when I felt betrayed by circumstances
Praying to God was my solace and strength
In an unknown world that was full of riches and fine things
But void of warmth and the presence of God
When you feel alone and it’s hard to take a stand for the truth
Remember this: God is closer than your breath
And His presence can overshadow even the coldest of places.
