The crushing is needed for the anointing to flow

Sometimes, we feel like a broken vessel
Something that was once intact but has suffered many blows since
Yet, God has a way of taking what’s broken, mending it, and using a mended vessel for His glory
He uses the pain we once knew to instill compassion inside us
I don’t know how God uses what was meant to crush us to create the oil we pour on someone else’s pain
Yet it seems like this is what He knows how to do best
When the pain feels heavy and the tenderness of your heart has been wounded
When you cannot compose the words to express your heart
Use every bit of strength you have left not to make yourself understood
But to allow God to speak to you and for you
When He speaks, things shift and everything starts to change.

This is very deep! Thank you Estera for this article. In my naivety as a Christian, I’ve often wondered why believers suffer, struggle, experience lack, persecuted etc knowing what Christ has already accomplishedfor those who believein Him. But God sometimes allow us to be crushed as olives so that we can pour out the oil of refreshing, love, grace, compassion, mercy etc on others.

    1. Thank you for the comment! I totally understand why you had that question. In time, we can often see the blessed result of our suffering- just like Jesus did. Estera

  2. Stand Firm

“And the head (capital) of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria
is Remaliah’s son [King Pekah]. If you will not [a]believe [and trust in
God and His message], be assured that you will not be
    established.”Isaiah 7:9 (AMP)

What do you believe? What do you stand for? If you don’t stand for
something, you will fall for everything! Since faith comes by hearing
and hearing by the Word of God, as Christians, we have no option but to
stand on the authority of God’s Word. It is the highest authority. When
Peter walked on water, he wasn’t just walking on water – he was walking
on the “Word”. Jesus spoke directly to him and said, “Come!” (Matthew
14:29). This is why Peter was able to defy the laws of gravity and
buoyancy; the Word of God is higher than any law – it is absolute.
Hallelujah! So when the devil tries to get you to believe you’re not
going to recover, or tries to convince you that you’re a victim in this
life, and all hope is gone – refuse to align yourself with his word over
you! No matter what the circumstances around you, keep your eyes and
heart fixed on what God’s Word says you are in Him. He says you are
healed, blessed and highly favoured! He says goodness and mercy follow
after you, and all you put your hand to will prosper and succeed – as
long as you keep His Word alive in your heart and trust Him completely!
Stand on the Word of God, and you will not be moved or shaken.
