Living a life of complete dependency.

God doesn’t just want to be part of your life- He wants to become your everything, your very life. The more you come to know Him, the more you are able to see His jealous heart. We tend to think of God as someone who is happy if we just make a little bit of time for but God wants to be the fire that consumes our existence. A fire that burns all the ugliness of our lives until we become full of His beauty. He is serious about having all of us or nothing. Why do you think so many people are disappointed with God? There was probably a time in their life when they tested God is some way, on their own terms, and because He didn’t respond the way expected- He was cut off from their hearts and lives. God wants to be the source of your existence because He is! He wants you to recognize Him as the One you cannot live without. Your strength, your safety, your everything. As humans, we tend to look for strength within ourselves, especially if we experience His deliverance in our lives in one way or another. As if He made us strong only to let us go off on our own. God doesn’t work like that. He wants us to continually be looking to Him for strength, peace, and renewal. He is our source- our life. The more you focus your heart on Him in humility and obedience, the more His presence will fill your existence!
