A moment of stillness (13).

The way out of chaos.

and my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

There is always hope in desperate times. God promises that if we humble ourselves when disciplined, He will restore us. In times of distress, I tend to ask myself if I have offended God in some way, knowing that He loves me enough to discipline me when I go astray. Let us take a moment to ponder our ways and consider where we might’ve started going the wrong way and turn back. Sometimes, we are blinded by our disobedience and cannot see our wrong, but if we seek God’s face He will open our eyes. Once He makes you aware of your sin, admit it, and pray for strength to truly change. He will hear, forgive, and heal.
