Humbled by God’s power.

The earth is changed as clay is by a seal; its hills stand out like the folds of a garment. Job 38:14

In chapter 38 of Job, God begins answering him after a very long silence. He showcases His work in vivid colours and paints a picture of His vantage point. With the coming of every dawn, the earth starts to take shape because of light’s touch upon it. The hills are like the folds of a garment to God as He watches from above. God’s majesty is stamped on everything He created. He could parade it daily in front of us but He gives of it freely and quietly instead. When we are tempted to question God’s ways or demand an answer, we should take a moment to look around us. See the beauty of nature, the birds, the animals? As you wait for your miracle, remember that each new day is one.
