Exalt Him only.

I will boast in the Lord; the humble will hear and be glad. Psalm 34:2

People boast in many things today. Be it looks, money, you name it. David knew that his boasting should be in God alone because everything comes from Him. He was humble and those that seek humility will always rejoice when God alone is exalted. David took delight in exalting God because He rescued him form his many enemies. What is your source of confidence? Anything apart from God will breed insecurity even while promising security. When God is exalted, we position ourselves in a posture of humility and pave the way for God to honour us. He exalts the humble but humbles the proud. God alone is my confidence and I will boast in Him!
