Wait it out.
Though one goes along weeping, carrying the bag of seed, he will surely come back with shouts of joy, carrying his sheaves. Psalm 126:6
God made the earth in such a way that if we observed how it works, we would be able to understand Him. We often wonder why the progress is so slow on our spiritual journey or why we need to drench our prayers with tears. It is simply the process God put in place. We cannot experience the joy of maturity or the favor we seek from God without carrying the bag of seed even though weeping. When harvest time comes, we will surely come back with shouts of joy while carrying the weight of God’s glory in our hearts. We all want to live in the destiny God has for us but without the pain and without the fire. It is impossible. My whole life testifies to this. Yet, the more we carry the seed of God’s Word, the more truth we will sow in our lives, year after year. How great each harvest will be! Let’s learn to wait in stillness for God’s work to be done in us. Soon, we will shout for joy once again!
