Character is not what is praised today. Shallow beauty is. The more appealing to the eye, the more a woman receives admiration. Most men appreciate external assets in women but what gives real beauty to a woman? Does jewelry? Makeup? A perfect body? These things pale in beauty when compared to the virtue of true character. It is not external beauty that makes you resemble this kind of woman that the Bible talks about. It is your inner qualities that truly shine in the midst of the erosion of everyday life. If you find yourself struggling to achieve the world’s standard of beauty please be encouraged today that God has something better for you. Don’t look to the world for beauty in a desperate attempt to imitate it. Look to God only and He will teach you the secrets of true beauty. Don’t be fooled by what the world likes. Strive to be beautiful to God alone even when no one is there to cheer you on! I am!!!
