Let these words that the Holy Spirit inspired me to write become yours. Let Him work powerfully in your life as you abide in Him!

Abiding in the Word

Not my feelings Lord, but what the Word says. Let Your words color my entire existence. Let it bud in every area of my life. When I am tempted to believe that I am the master of my reality, help me to discern the lie and abide in the truth that You are my true reality. I will trust the Word over my thoughts, my situations, and my perceptions. I will meditate on the verses your Holy Spirit highlights to me and will not let them slip by. With all of my heart and attention, I will turn my mind to Your Word. When it is Your Word and not mine that rules my mind, I am always at peace and my inward being rejoices in full abundance. Your Word truly gives nourishment and refreshment to my soul. It is so much more than words on a page- it is life and freedom. It is healing. I can fully trust it. It will never fail. Your Word is who you are. It is Jesus Himself.

For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. Psalm 33:4 NIV
