Abiding in peace

God, you have so faithfully taught me that peace is not something I should wait for to happen but something that I can step into now because You are the God of peace. You told me so plainly in your Word that You have already given me Your peace but that you need me to remain in it. Since the world spiralled out of control in 2019, for some people peace had become a forgotten notion. It’s as if history was split in two- pre-2019 and post-2019. Your peace is still enough even during a worldwide crisis. Every moment, I can live without anxiety of any kind because Your peace is real and it is mine. You want me to remain untroubled, trusting that Your peace is greater than any storm. You speak to me in the peace and quiet. You ARE peace. As I hold on to peace within and without, I hold on to You and it is in that environment that Your Spirit moves. Your peace is forever available, regardless of circumstances. Thank you for being my truest peace . . .

Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] John 14:27 AMP

You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Isaiah 26:3
